Active Flight Paragliding offers a variety of tandem paraglide options; basic glides, thermal flights and extended scenic tours. Digital photos, videos and gift vouchers are also available upon request. Please enquire when you make a booking.

Paragliding Tandem Glide - $130.00**

The basic glide flight is gentle flight conducted early in the morning or in the evening when conditions are very calm and smooth. The conditions are that of which first time solo flights are conducted. The basic glide will last around five to ten minutes*.

Paragliding Tandem Extended - $180.00**

The Thermic Paraglide is for those who want a little more adventure. Launching later in the day than a basic glide flight, the Thermic Paraglide gives you a taste of the real adventure of paragliding. It involves thermalling; that is, catching the warm currents of air that rise and turning in them, thus gaining height. Expect to climb to around 1200 metres above sea level (conditions dependant) and then a glide to the landing paddock. The Thermic Paraglide will last around 30 minutes*.

Extended Scenic Tour - from $220.00**

For the ultimate adventure, take a scenic tour around the Bright area with an extended scenic tour. Launching around the same time of the day as a Thermic Paraglide, we will climb to heights of around 1500 to 2500 metres and take you on a tour around and beyond Bright. Possible routes could be:

  • Mt Buffalo
  • Harrietville
  • Porepunkah
  • Mt Beauty
  • Ovens

Of course, it is always dependant on conditions as to where it is possible to fly. Your pilot will discuss with you potential routes and locations on the day.

The extended scenic tour usually has around an hours plus flight time*.
