Thermal XC Course including Tandem

The Private Thermal/XC Course caters for a variety of skills from basic thermal/cross country to competition tasks.

One pilot XC flight:

  • Thermal/XC tandem flight approximately 1hr.
  • Debrief Flight.

Cost: $275

One pilot XC Clinic:

  • Basic thermal /XC theory.
  • XC tandem flight.
  • Flight debrief.

Dates: On application.

Cost: $325

Two pilot Thermal/XC clinic:(conducted over two days)

  • Morning briefing and theory.
  • XC flight with one pilot as tandem passenger and other pilot being guided through flight.
  • Evening debrief.
  • Pilots switch roles for the following day.
